Occupational hygiene monitoring training
Course objective
As a occupational hygiene monitoring technician for air in the workplace, a wide range of skills are required. This 3-day course provides an insight into the diverse tasks of a measurement technician for occupational hygiene measurements in the air and on surfaces.
The focus is on sampling dusts, vapors and aerosols. The course is completed with a certificate after passing the examination.

Contents
- Measurement techniques for gases, vapors, aerosols and dust in the air at the workplace
- Measuring techniques for surface wipe tests
- Basic knowledge of analytical methods from an occupational hygiene perspective
- Planning and execution of occupational hygiene exposure measurements
- Avoiding carry-over during the performance of occupational hygiene measurements
- Protection of the measurement technician and the measurement equipment
Competencies
- They have a good basic knowledge of measurement technology for occupational hygiene exposure measurements.
- They know the methods for air measurement technology and the associated analytical requirements, the measuring devices and accessories.
- You can present the observations and results in a report.
- They know the interface between measurement technicians and occupational hygienists.
Prerequisites
- Completed apprenticeship or corresponding professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- German or English spoken and written

Teilnehmerzahl:
- Der Lehrgang wird ab 3 Teilnehmenden durchgeführt. Die maximale Teilnehmerzahl beträgt 4 Personen.
- Ein Laptop mit MS Office und einem Internetbrowser muss von den Teilnehmenden mitgebracht werden.
